Code of Practice

Redstone Associates are members of the REC and are bound and fully support their best practice principles. We avoid the detrimental practices which is common in the recruitment industry, and adhere to the following Code of Practice:

  • NO unsolicited "spamming" of Candidate CVs with the aim of securing a fee by being the first to submit
  • NO misinforming candidates of the position and finance available with a Client in order to get them to Interview
  • NO misinforming Clients of Candidate salary levels in order to inflate fees
  • NO actively sourcing new candidates from Clients signed up under a Preferred Suppliers Agreement
  • NO hard sales techniques designed to effect a short-term placement and adding little or no value to either party

Retained Search

Targeted at Director level appointments, our Executive Search service is provided on the basis of an assignment fee in addition to a placement fee on completion. Each assignment is unique, but typically provides:

  • Detailed briefing meeting
  • Interview of all potential candidates over the telephone and in person where necessary
  • Provide detailed notes/report on all shortlisted candidates
  • Exclusivity on all shortlisted candidates
  • Assignment managed by a senior member of staff
  • References
  • Other testing as required (e.g. psychometric, any systems employed by the Client etc.)
  • Formal, written report
  • Advice on structured recruitment campaign and advertising

We assure confidentiality and discretion in all our search work, and will allocate a significant amount of research work and consultant time to each requirement.

Targeted Search

This service is suited to clients who are rapidly expanding or need to grow an office quickly. It is based on an extended period of retention of our services by the client between three months and one year in duration. The key features are:

  • Exclusivity on candidates (wherever possible)
  • Regular meetings with your Account Manager
  • Honest appraisals of Candidates’ motivations
  • Market intelligence
  • Working under a service level agreement which involves a monthly report on progress and KPIs. This ensures both parties can maintain a high standard throughout the recruitment process, and identifies any "weak links" in the recruitment process
  • Positive representation of your brand to the market
  • Active searches for candidates to fit your requirements
  • Approaching and assessment of known individuals in confidence
  • Access to our office facilities if required
